Dynastie im Alten Reich. Er herrschte etwa von 2530 bis 2510 v. Chr. Über seine Person und seine Regierungszeit existieren nur sehr wenige Zeugnisse. Bekannt ist er vor allem durch den Bau der dritten und letzten Pyramide von Gizeh und durch zahlreiche, zum Teil hervorragend erhaltene Statuen, die in ihrer Umgebung gefunden wurden. Fast alle bekannten Statuen des Mykerinos stammen aus Grabungen, die George Andrew Reisner ab 1908 in dessen Pyramidenkomplex durchführte. Die meisten Stücke wurden im Taltempel gefunden, unter ihnen auch die berühmten Mykerinos-Triaden. Weitere Funde wurden im Totentempel gemacht. Die Fundstücke befinden sich heute im Museum of Fine Arts in Boston und im Ägyptischen Museum in Kairo.
